Red bed - the new day bedding from Red Horse

What is It?	RedBed - Bedding that is actually GOOD for feet! Chances are you have heard some reports about RedBed by now - people are very excited about it, not least because it is different to anything anyone in this country has seen before! RedBed is an innovative new day bedding/ hoof conditioner that we, at Red Horse Products are working on for the UK market, which we and many of our equestrian associates are very excited about! Unlike 'conventional' bedding it is not plant-based but made from other natural materials. This allows it a much longer life-span then currently available bedding products and many other benefits to horses and owners alike. These include; hoof conditioning properties, reduced waste and reduced ammonia and spore production. The first trial site (Alpha) near Henley on Thames, Oxfordshire is already generating a huge amount of interest among equine podiatrists, vets and yard owners alike. Although at the Alpha site RedBed is used as a foot conditioner just 4-6 hours a day the first instalment lasted over 18 months and is continuing a useful life now it has been transferred to our round pen. Equine Podiatrists in this country have been crying out for a product like this in the UK as products with similar properties are recommended by their US counterparts. We already have one KC la Pierre trained Equine Podiatrist using it and other to soon follow in his stead. Beta Trials are well under way to discover just how good this bedding is and in which situations it works best. Once these are complete we will release to the UK market! Don't get too excited about it though, we do have glitches - some people love it and some hate it. Like all things it can have it's bad points and the role of our extensive trials are to work out what makes the difference between a bed that lasts and lasts and one that seems to be torture by clay!
