Our Ethos - the rules we work to when producing products
When we are making our products our main aims are that they are as effective as possible whilst doing no harm to the horse. If a herbal ingredient best serves this purpose, or another natural ingredient or an artificial ingredient then we will use it. We usually find that natural ingredients best serve our purposes, but our main priority is that it works so where we need to we will use simple chemicals e.g. Zinc Oxide or Zinc Sulphate.
We always try to keep our products as simple as possible with as few ingredients as possible, minimising the risk of adverse reactions as much as possible.
We look for products that will serve two (or more) purposes - honey for example is antimicrobial, a healing agent and improves consistency in many of our products. Zinc based products provide vital assistance to hoof re-growth once the root of the problem has been sorted.
